To photograph a cat, kitten or even several kittens you will need a lot of patience and perseverance to start with. Cats or kittens are vary playful animals so you don't know beforehand what they are going to do. <\/p>\n

If you want them to be calmer, organise your photo session after their meal. In the afternoon or toward the evening cats are more active, because they are nocturnal animals by nature. They are most active at night.<\/p>\n

Plan beforehand what type of the picture you would like to have. Is it an action picture or is it a portrait type of your loving cat? With an action picture you would have an advantage if your camera has an option to take several frames per second and even use a remote control. With your zoom lens setup for wider angle you have better chance to have good picture from several action shots. Don't go too far with your camera from your kitten, because they would be very small in your frame.<\/p>\n

\"\"In case of a portrait type you can use a telephoto lens, where you can stay in a longer distance from your cat or kitten and wait for the right moment. You will be able to acquire candid close-ups from a long distance. Again your patience will pay of.<\/p>\n

Make an effort to get a kitten playing with a gadget or perhaps a ball. Photos an older pet cat settling into a much-loved spot, stretching out or washing itself. Subdued lighting is made for close-ups due to the fact makes the cat's eyes appear to be lighter.<\/p>\n

When capturing a pet with a person, present the two actively playing or perhaps staring at each other, or even the dog looking on while its owner is actually absorbed in certain activity.<\/p>\n
